Filmed in 2008, the Discovery Channel documentary “Sea Wolf” highlights the hunting and killing of Commons Dolphins by Killer Whales in Algoa Bay.
Years later Algoa Bay Marine have learned to predict the time and area most likely to see the appearance of Orcas in Algoa Bay, Gqeberha, South Africa.
Since this first ever world-wide documentation of Orcas hunting dolphins was witnessed and documented scientists and operators in Norway, New Zealand, Canada, California and Russia have now also documented how Orcas hunt and kill dolphins.
The Discovery Channel filmed a documentary titled “Sea Wolf” about the Killer Whales in Algoa Bay and earmarked our bay as a “hot spot” for Killer Whales in South Africa.
