On 03/05/2019 at 08:30 am, Kyle skippered the Algoa Bay Marine Vessel and excited Guests on a Whale and Dolphin spotting trip to St Croix, leaving from GQDSAC at 08:30 am.
We proceeded out of the Port and headed for New Brighton Beach. Then on past Swartkops to Jaheel Island where we spotted a pod of feeding Bottlenose Dolphins. On to St Croix where many penguins were in the water feeding. Sailing past we spotted uncharacteristically large numbers of birds on Brenton Island. Then, it was a ‘race’ back to Port to avoid the predicted high winds and seas.
