Bayside Guesthouse in the beachfront suburb of Summerstrand has been stylishly renovated to offer 4-star Bed and Breakfast accommodation. All rooms have private entrances, en-suite bathrooms and have been tastefully and comfortably decorated providing a restful haven after spending a day on the beach, exploring the nearby game parks or returning from a busy day at work. Sit out on your patio to unwind after a long day. Take a leisurely 400 meter stroll down to Pollock Beach and watch the surfers in action. Follow the walkway & cycle path which will take you past Hobie Beach and onto the Boardwalk Casino & Entertainment complex. Here you will find a variety of entertainment (movies, ten-pin bowling, go-karts, adventure golf and a games arcade for the little ones), a good meal and even fit in a bit of shopping.
Take a drive in the other direction and explore The Sunshine Saunter. Take a look at the beautiful “wild” rocky beaches, stop over at one of the numerous coffee shops & restaurants for a bite to eat and visit the Seaview Lion Park, Kragga Kamma Game Reserve of even the Boma reptile park.
If you’re in shopping mode, a 15 minute drive takes you to the beautiful Walmer Park and Moffett on Main shopping centres and a 20 minute drive takes you to the huge Greenacres Centre, where you can shop till you drop!
Less than 2 hours drive takes you to Addo Elephant Park, Grahamstown, Port Alfred and numerous Game Parks and in the opposite direction head along to Jeffreys Bay or St. Francis Bay. A day’s outing takes you along the Garden Route to numerous attractions at Storms River, Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, Bungi Jumping, Zip Lining, Sky Diving and many more!
