On 31/01/2019 at 08:45 am, Kyle skippered the Algoa Bay Marine Vessel and excited Guests on a Whale and Dolphin spotting trip to St Croix.

And the UNIQUE sighting was:
On our way back from St Croix we u-turned to get closer to what we thought was a large shark cruising along the surface. BUT, on closer inspection the dorsal fin was thinner and higher than that of a shark. Yup, you guessed it – a Marlin cruising into Algoa Bay.
In our combined decades of time at sea not one of us could recall ever seeing a Marlin in Algoa Bay – what an awesome sighting!
