On 29/04/2019 at 09:00 am, Kyle skippered the Algoa Bay Marine Vessel and excited Guests on a Whale and Dolphin spotting trip to St Croix, leaving from GQDSAC at 09:00 am.
We left the Port of Gqeberha in a mild North Easterly. Guests onboard requested to see penguins. On our way through the anchorage area we spotted a Brydes Whale on a mission towards Cape Receife. Approaching St Croix we spotted Bottlenose Dolphins close to the shoreline cruising for food. Not too many penguins on the Island.
The large pod of Bottlenose Dolphins was spotted close to the sand bypass system for the Port of Nqura and they travelled down towards St Georges along the shoreline, gambolling and jumping in the waves for excited guests.
Then, too soon it was time to return to the Port of Gqeberha.
